This next credit card balance transfer is even better, I wish I had seen it before doing the Halifax card, as the fee is only 2.5% AND the 0% interest is for longer, 13 months instead of 10 is nearly half a year extra. However, I am still happy with the Halifax credit card deal, as PURCHASES are 0% for the whole 10 months as well (see the reason below).
The only thing to watch out for is, DO NOT PURCHASE with the HSBC card as well as doing a balance transfer, as you will be paying 16.9% on what you buy for 10 months while the balance transfer still stays at 0%. ONLY IF YOU PAID OFF ALL THE BALANCE TRANSFER FIRST, would you be able to put your repayments towards reducing the amount being charged at 16.9% per annum.
